Cheerful summer cocktail: The Orange Mojito

 

Switch it up with an Orange Mojito! This cheerful cocktail is sweet and refreshing and best served on a summer afternoon. This is how you make it!


Ingredients

White rum 50 ml • half an orange • 1 lime • sparkling water 50 ml • cane sugar • leaves from 2 mint sprigs • crushed ice

 

What you need:

Cocktail glass • muddler • cocktail spoon • bar jigger

 

Preparation:

1. Cut the orange and the lime into three wedges, keep two lime wedges to garnish.

2. Put the orange wedges and lime wedges into a cocktail glass.

3. Muddle the fruits with a muddler until the juice comes out, then remove from glass, leaving the juice.

4. Add the mint leaves and cane sugar (2 teaspoons) to the juice and muddle until you can smell the fragrance of the mint.

5. Add the white rum (50 ml) with a bar jigger, add the sparkling water (50 ml) and add the crushed ice.

6. Stir well with a cocktail spoon until all the ingredients have blended.

7. Serve in long drink glasses.

8. Garnish with a lime wedge.
